Grilled Cheese Club Sandwich
Before you
Begin:
You’ll need small skillet, or griddle, frill toothpicks Preheat
griddle or skillet to medium-high

1 serving
2 slices bacon
1 lettuce
leaf
3 slices white
bread 2 slices tomato
Butter or
margarine, softened 1 pickle spear
(for garnish)
2 slices
American cheese ¾ oz. potato chips
(for garnish)
Cook bacon
slices until crispy and set aside. Meanwhile, spread butter on
one side of each slice of bread. Arrange two slices of American
cheese between two unbuttered sides of bread. On a griddle or in
a skillet preheated to medium-high, place the buttered sandwich
and grill until golden-brown, about 3 minutes. Turn and grill
the opposite side until golden-brown. Meanwhile, place remaining
slice of bread on the griddle, buttered side down, and grill
until golden brown, Set aside.
To serve, on top
of the grilled cheese portion of the sandwich, arrange tomato
slices, cooked bacon broken in half, and lettuce leaf folded to
the approximate dimensions of bread slices. Place the remaining
slices of grilled bread on top.
Insert a frill
toothpick into each quarter of the sandwich and slice the
sandwich diagonally into quarters. Arrange sandwich quarters
around the outer edge of dinner plate; garnish with potato chips
in the center of the plate and pickle spear to one side.
