PGRS Minutes

PGRS Minutes from April 27, 2019

Attendance: Alice Angelo, Keith Baggus, Clark Kemmerer, Daniel and Lori Rehtorik, Reggie and Bruce Watkins,

New Member: Les Kotouch from Baden recently joined the club.

With the passing of Jan Vogt - Alice and Clark will take over the planning of our Christmas Party.  To be held on December 7, 2019   Alice will do favors and table center pieces.  Clark made a phone call during our meeting to Palmieri's  Restaurant in Plum to see if this date was available. Members in attendance all agreed on Palmieri's, so the reservation was made. A menu will be mailed to Clark and Tina to select the buffet meal.   Tina gave Clark a check to drop off at Palmieri's for a $200.00 deposit with a cash bar.  We may provide our own dessert.   The Pittsburgh Garden Railway Society will pay for the appetizers.  Cocktails at 6:00P  and  dinner at 7:00P

Fayette County TRAIN DAY is Saturday, May 11th from 10:00A to 4:00P. Tina is asking that members who know how to operate our train layout- work shifts. Pipe and Steam will be held on the same day.

Anything on Wheel Trolley Fair at Washington Trolley Museum.  June 22 and 23. Set-up will be Friday from 9-4.

We will be doing the 16 X 24 layout. Motion approved by Clark and Bruce. (the same layout done at the Shrine Center)   WEAR your nametags to get in.

At least 10 people are needed to set-up.

The ladies of the club assisted Reggie in planting some plants in and around their Garden Railroad, while the men toured Bruce's "man cave".  WOW what a place, if you missed the meeting you missed it all.

A lovely dinner was served, with calming music in the background.  Good conversation with good friends.

                                                                               Respectfully submitted,

                                                                                          Alice Angelo
