Apple Dapple
3 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
3 cups chopped apples
3 cups flour
1 cup walnuts or pecans
Preparation
Mix oil,
eggs, sugar, and water. Beat at high speed for 5 minutes. Add
four ingredients and beat 5 minutes at low speed. Stir in apples
and walnuts. (Don't chop nuts too fine)
Bake in
greased and floured Bundt pan for 55 to 60 minutes @ 350 degrees
F. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove cake from pan and place on
waxed paper. Spoon 1/3 topping over cake. Put cake back in pan
and pour rest of topping over cake. (Around sides) Leave in pan
for 5 minutes. Take cake out of pan (over on wax paper)
Topping
1 cup
light brown sugar (don't pack too tight)
1/4
cup milk
1/2
cup butter (margarine)
Bring to
boil -- boil 2 minutes
