| You may be interested in the
camera that I used to take the video that is in
this
newsletter. It is a new
(to me) camera that can be had from
Amazon
and other sellers for around $100.00. I got mine from
Banggood. The camera is very small measuring about 1.5" x 1.5" x 1.5". It has a built-in battery and saves video to a micro SD card.
Note that it does not come with a mount. I just put a small goop of adhesive (Glue Dots) on the bottom and stuck it to a locomotive for the video. I have also glued Velcro to the bottom and used that to hold it to my bike helmet - here is a sample video taken from the bike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQ3QSpyzsEE&t=383s It has no display, has only one button and tells you its operation status with a single LED so it takes a bit of getting used to. On the other hand the video is very good!
